First revealed during E3 2006, the action rpg remains the last unreleased part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy series. With the other two projects in the compilation now complete and production of Versus in full swing could a playable demo of the rpg be offered soon?
If you believe the latest 2chan rumors ( courtesy of GS forums ) , then the answer is “yes”.
Not only is it rumored that a playable demo for Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be on hand at E3 this year but one for Final Fantasy XIV 2.0 as well. And if that wasn’t enough the site also claims that a Final Fantasy XV announcement trailer will be shown at the event.
While 2chan may be notorious for spreading unfounded reports that are proven wrong they were spot on when they reported that Jihl Nabaat being added as DLC in FF XIII-2. It’s also worth mentioning that in a recent interview with Famitsu director Tetsuya Nomura indicated that a demo for Versus was planned, although he didn’t specify whether or not the demo was for public or media viewing.
